The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) is the recognised Government backed health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. It is available for suitably competent suppliers. The aim of the scheme is to save time and resources by avoiding unnecessary duplication in the first stage of competence assessment and it is used by the Public Sector such as Local Authorities, NHS, Emergency Services, Government Departments and also by many Construction companies in the Private Sector.
Charter Health and Safety Solutions have recently assisted another of our Clients in renewing their CHAS Accreditation, the Construction Partnership Limited, based in Hamble near Southampton and with offices in Hersham, Surrey, are a Chartered Building Company delivering new build, refurbishment and alteration work across many sectors.
They have completed well over 250 projects and are currently involved in the refurbishment of the library and accommodation at Chichester University, the construction of housing schemes in Aldershot and Normandy, the construction of a gymnasium at Bay House School, Gosport, the refurbishment of Hook Community Centre and the conversion of a Manor House in to a wedding venue, in Upper Froyle.
If your company, large or small, requires CHAS Accreditation to satisfy a client or tender requirement, or you want to save time and money by not having to complete the health and safety section of pre-qualification questionnaires of SSIP members then please contact your nearest office or email email@example.com for a competitive quote. We have offices located in London, Southampton and Salisbury.
In addition to CHAS, Charter Health and Safety Solutions can also supply guidance on and assist with gaining SMAS, ContractorPlus and Safecontractor Accreditation.
